Eddie Artajo is a 2023 SS/RHP, IF, OF with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Des Plaines, IL who attends Schaumburg Christian. Medium frame with a stocky type build showing strength throughout. Ran a 7.68 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, sitting back on the baseball a bit. Deep gather as he scoops it up and works into transfer. Accurate across the diamond as he threw it 74 mph during drills. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a side-step to a belt high lift. Medium arm swing as he released from a higher slot. A lot of moving parts and he creates deception because of it. Fastball up to 75 mph with arm side run. Also mixed in a slider with short, horizontal break getting swing and miss with it. Right-Handed Hitter, balanced to start as he works into a bigger leg lift. Strides out before throwing the bat head through the zone with a linear plane. Looks to get extended and pull it for power at times. Found the barrel often as he showed off advanced bat on ball skills. Great Student.
