Oscar Grijalva is a 2026 SS/RHP, C with a 5-6 122 lb. frame from Pomona, CA who attends San Dimas. Slender build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.79 seconds. Primary infielder, fields the ball cleanly with soft hands and a good exchange into his throws, athletic, had great body control. Also caught, has quick fast twitch muscles, really uses lower half well, short stride, gains ground down to second base with a quick release and transfer. His throw has good carry. From the mound, small quick arm circle, works quickly, threw a lot of strikes. Throws from a three-quarter arm slot, whippy arm action. Fastball has some arm side run, showed slider, has a good feel for it, very tight spin with good depth. Right-handed hitter, has an even base stance with a leg kick. Displayed some bat speed, barrel stays flat through zone, drove the ball with good intent. Excellent student.
