Jared Peterson is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Brentwood, TN who attends Ravenwood. Peterson showed some solid speed as he a ran a 6.89 sixty yard dash. Jared has a medium build with some length in the frame. Primary outfield Peterson fields the ball off to the side smoothly with a quick glove to hand transfers. He maintains direction into release with developing arm strength and accurate throws. On the mound Jared works from the 3B side of the rubber with a stuff belt high leg lift. Hands start low and shift to mid chest with a shorter arm path. He lands linear to the plate with some ease to the operation. The fastball sat in the low to mid 70s with some late cutting action to it. Breaking ball showed some depth as he was able to throw it in the zone. Right handed hitter starts from a narrow even stance with a slight leg lift trigger. Jared showed a heavy preload over the back side with a clean weight transfer in the swing. He showed still developing bat speed with some loft in the swing path. Peterson works a pull side approach. Peterson was named to the 2022 Nashville Prospect Showcase Top Team List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
