Benjamin Brewer is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Bondurant, IA who attends Bondurant-Farrar. Lean build with projection for the future. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.30 seconds. A primary RHP, he throws from a 3/4 arm slot and his FB topped out at 75 mph that had late arm side run to it. He also showed a CB that had 3/4 shape and he landed a few in the zone. At 1B defensively he took efficient routes to grounders and showed soft hands to both sides of his body. His top throw across the infield was clocked at 71 mph. At the plate, he hits out of a slightly open, spread out stance. The bat path has some loft to it through the zone. He's also an excellent student in the classroom.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
