Yahir Otero is a 2022 SS/RHP with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Vega Alta, PR who attends Juan Quiridongo. Taller and athletically proportioned frame with a good look. Ran a 6.57 in the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder, excellent lateral range with good instincts. He rounds the ball with quickness and body control using a fast exchange and showing arm strength to make every play. A secondary outfielder, explosive approach with an aggressive nature using direct routes to the ball. Lots of arm strength with true carry to the bases. A right-handed hitter, explodes with the hips while keeping the hands back generating a lot of hand speed. Adjusts well with good eye hand coordination and plenty of jump off the bat. Very good potential on both sides of the ball. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
