Gavin Johnson is a 2025 SS/C, 2B with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Kirkland, WA who attends Lake Washington. Features a smaller build with time to develop. Ran a 7.87 60-yard dash. Showcased some quality traits during infield workouts. Gets around the ball well. Caught the ball cleanly on a consistent basis. Displayed an accurate arm across the diamond. Uses a side saddle setup behind the plate. Keeps body moving directly through the target. Accurate as catcher too. More arm strength should come as frame adds strength. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a slightly open stance with a low hand setup. Features a fundamentally sound swing. Lofted path drives ball in the air consistently. Has some feel for the barrel. More power should come as the build matures. Solid hitting foundation that should only get better. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
