Landon Murphy is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Carrollton, TX who attends Prestonwood Christian Academy. Tall and slender athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Step by step slow paced delivery, long arm takeaway in back, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball worked up to 81 mph, showed good command of his fastball to his glove side, mostly straight with occasional running life. Did a good job of landing his curveball. Pitched to contact with his two pitches and had a solid outing. 7.34 runner in the sixty. Also plays the outfield, showed his arm strength well with good energy through release and a big crow hop. Right handed hitter, hits from a very spread start, swings hard with a downhill swing plane, tends to get off balance out front. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
