Salvatore Besztery is a 2023 SS/2B, 3B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends St. Ignatius College Prep. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.22 seconds. Hits from upright and even stance with smaller leg lift to trigger, rotates well through swing, quick stroke with some length on the entry path, hands are quick, projects well with continued strength gains. Showed active feet in the infield, moves well with solid athleticism, gets into good fielding position, works through it cleanly with balance, clocked up to 81 mph on throws across. Very good student.
