Jay Burchette is a 2028 C/RHP, 2B, 3B, OF, UT with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Murfreesboro, TN who attends Blackman HS. Recorded an 8.92 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with room to fill out and add strength. Primary catcher who is quick out of the crouch and has accuracy down to the bag. Big stride forward and has currently developing arm strength. Also worked out from secondary positions of infield and outfield. Right-handed hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, a wide base, and even feet. Level swing path and has a small stride forward during the load. Downhill hand path and showed the ability to work to all fields. Power will develop as he adds strength.
