Alejandro Porta is a 2026 SS/RHP, 3B, MIF with a 5-7 143 lb. frame from Homestead, FL who attends Keys Gate Charter. A medium frame and a compact build. Ran a 7.52 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop who worked out at the position during defensive workouts. He had some bounce to his actions and threw from a higher slot. He moved well laterally, getting to the ball and letting throws go across the diamond. Threw 78 mph. A right-handed hitter with a wider base and higher set hands with the high back elbow. He is able to get the hands out front and drive it. Took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher, working from the wind-up. He had a leg lift up around the belt, working from a high three-quarters arm slot. The fastball has some natural cut to it in the low- to mid-70s. The curveball had a bigger shape to it in the low-60s. He was able to miss some barrels up in the zone. Showed a changeup later in the outing with some depth to it. Had an efficient outing on the mound. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
