Jose Plazola is a 2026 RHP/2B, SS with a 5-6 115 lb. frame from Fontana, CA who attends Jurupa Hills. Medium sized frame with room to add lean muscle. Right-handed pitcher that uses a two pitch mix working in his fastball and curveball. Working exclusively out of the stretch with a low three-quarter arm slot. Curveball has good sweeping action. Growth coming with the fastball has he gets bigger. Showed some good glove side run with his fastball. He showcased as a middle infielder as well showing a good glove with a clean back hand. He possessed good lateral action with an athletic arm stroke. He has a clean low slot release. At the plate he has a medium base stance with a direct swing the the ball. He has pull side tools but looked to be the most comfortable up the middle. He did not run a 60. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
