Andre Carl is a 2024 SS/RHP with a 5-10 130 lb. frame from Detroit, MI who attends Mumford. Medium frame with a young, lean build showing room to fill out physically in the future. Ran a 8.06 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, sitting back on the baseball a bit as he makes sure to keep the play in front of him. Plays the baseball in an athletic stance before working into funneling it to the body. Quick transfer before throwing it 70 mph with accuracy during drills. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with simple mechanics as he lifts to the belt before working down the hill. Drops the arm slot a bit as he released from a low three-quarter slot. Only flashed the fastball as he topped out at 69 mph. Right-Handed Hitter, starting with a wide base as he shows very few pre-pitch movements. Throws hands as he gets the barrel through the zone on a linear path. Weight left on backside throughout the swing. Proved he could drive it up the middle with some pop when he timed it up. Outstanding Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
