2021 14U March Northern CA Workout Camp Sunday  
Jaylan Patterson is a 2025 RHP/2B, SS, OF with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Roseville, CA who attends Oakmont. Long and lean build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.56 seconds. Primary pitcher who repeats and controls his delivery nicely throughout. Flashed some quality arm speed which allows his 68-70 MPH FB to play above its velocity. His CB averaged 59 MPH and is a late vertical breaker. Showed another breaking ball in a SL at 62 MPH that had late tilt and bite as well. The fourth pitch in his arsenal is a CH at 61 MPH that had real late fading action. Defensively in the middle infield positions he showed good body control and range to both sides of his body. His throws across the diamond in the infield topped out at 70 MPH, while his throws from the outfield got up to 73 MPH. At the plate he showed a real short and compact stroke that takes a direct path to the ball. Flashed some bat speed as well that he uses to spray line drives to all fields.
