2021 14U March Northern CA Workout Camp Sunday
Beau Ogles is a 2025 MIF/C with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Roseville, CA who attends Oakmont. Medium build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.90 seconds. Primary middle infielder who showed the ability to throw from several arm angles. His throws across the diamond topped out at 68 MPH but he has a very quick release which allows the arm to play up. Does a good job of working low to the ground and allowing his footwork to put himself into a good fielding position. Also worked out as a catcher where he recorded a 2.32 second pop time. With the bat he flashed some quality bat speed and flashed some power to all fields. On the mound his FB was 66-70 MPH that had some late riding action to it when up in the zone. Showed advanced feel for the FB command as well. His SL averaged 60 MPH and had some late tilt to it. Also showed a CH at 64 MPH that had some slight fade. Throws all of his pitches out of the same 3/4 arm slot and has a knack for throwing strikes.
