Mason Farrell is a 2025 1B/LHP with a 5-9 200 lb. frame from Santa Rosa, CA who attends Cardinal Newman. Features a strong, compact build. Ran a 7.92 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman. Showcases clean glove actions that work through hops well. Sound footwork allows for the routine play to be made consistently. Can produce accurate double play feeds. Reached 77 mph across the diamond. Left-handed hitter. Utilizes an even base stance into a simple timing mechanism. Has a slight hand hitch. Swings on a direct path with an approach geared toward the middle of the field. Can drive balls well when hit in the air. Needs to add loft to the swing to consistently tap into it. Left-handed pitcher. Utilizes tall and fall mechanics into a short stride down the mound. Throws form a 3/4 slot with a short arm action. Fastball sat 71-74 mph with slight cut action. Looks to attack the zone with the offering. Slider at 62-65 mph flashed sharp, tilting action. Can create late bite when spun well. Still refining command of both offerings but has swing and miss ability. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
