Santiago Espitia is a 2027 SS/2B/3B with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Windermere, FL who attends Windermere. A taller frame and medium build. Projectable frame. Ran a 7.70 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder who charged it well and moved well laterally throughout his round of throws across the infield. Threw 82 mph across to first. Had a longer arm action across. A right-handed hitter with higher-set hands and a high back elbow as he sets up. He keeps a very wide base before striding into it with an uphill path thru the ball. He's mostly direct with good intent behind the swing. Showed the ability to get the hips involved and rotate through the swing later in his round of BP. Has some hand speed as well. Added a base knock in-game as well. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
