Jack Dalton is a 2025 3B/RHP/SS with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Garner, NC who attends Cleveland. Medium young build with plenty of room to get stronger. Primary third baseman on defense, comes to the ball well with well controlled footwork, stays balanced well, over the top arm slot with good carry and accuracy on his throws, solid overall defensive tools to develop. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow open stance, moves into his swing well with his lower half, long and extended swing, gets the ball in the air consistently, best carry to mid field, will continue to improve with additional strength. Also pitched, back turn delivery from a stretch start, very rotational mechanics, lands open in front, energy at release. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, often misses glove side due to over rotational, tends to slow his body on his change up, didn't show a breaking ball. Good arm strength with some development to do on the mound. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
