2023 13U/14U Sunshine West Showcase
Kaleb Kutz is a 2027 3B/MIF with a solid, athletic 5-10 145 lb. frame from Apple Valley, CA who attends Barstow. Started the event off clocking a 8.18 60-yard dash. A primary infielder that can play multiple positions. Defensively, Kutz showed well in the infield taking an aggressive approach and working through the baseball with confidence. Moved well laterally and uses the proper footwork/glove techniques, and demonstrated he could make strong, accurate, crisp throws from a 3/4 slot across the diamond. At the plate, he uses a big leg kick trigger mechanism employing a heavy pull approach. Barreled up some balls driving them into the gaps. Added strength will enhance his overall skillset.

Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
