Hovan Colunga is a 2028 SS/RHP, C, 3B, OF with a 5-6 130 lb. frame from Deer Park, TX. Compact, slender build. Ran a 7.27 in the sixty. Infielder, shows good fundamentals with softer hands. Made all the plays in drills and looked the part, bounced around a good bit with easy lateral range. Outfielder, confident charges into on-line throws. Played a couple hops to the bag but showed an aggressive approach. Right-handed pitcher, shorter arm action from three-quarter slot. Stays on line, pounded the zone. Bit of arm-side run on fastball with solid 12-6 shape to his breaker. Right-handed hitter, open stance and high hand set. Solid hand speed good extension. Sprayed it to all fields and very hitterish for age. Good traits.
