Troy Simmonds is a 2025 LHP/OF with a lean, projectable 5-11 161 lb. frame from Costa Mesa, CA who attends Costa Mesa HS. Started the event off clocking a 7.47 60-yard dash. Simmonds is a primary pitcher featuring a 4-pitch mix that includes a fastball, curveball, slider and a changeup. He works out of the stretch exclusively and shows an easy, balanced operation and delivery. His curveball had good shape and showed high spin rates topping 2660 paired with his sharp sweeping slider at spin rates to 2400. Simmonds has a good feel for pitching uses his secondaries to take advantage. Good student.
