John Sullivan is a 2027 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Riverside, CA who attends Servite. Nice young athletic build that projects very well moving into the future. Left handed hitter, hits from a straight spread stance, has a loose and extended swing, gets his foot down on time and hits through the ball, works the ball gap to gap, nice swing to grow from as he fills in and gets stronger. 8.23 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, shows step by step actions go the ball, can get his glove down earlier at times, makes accurate throws from a compact arm action. Took a turn on the mound, has a slow paced and low effort delivery, repeats his release point well. Fastball topped out at 75 mph with some arm side lift at times, did a good job throwing his fastball for strikes and working ahead in counts. Flashed a raw low 60's slider that had some tilt. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
