2021 Puerto Rico Workout Showcase
Cesar Lam is a 2022 SS/OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Aibonito, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Recorded a 7.12 second 60-yard dash time. Extra large frame with very broad shoulders and good physicality throughout. Primary shortstop who fields with two hands out in front and rounds the ball really nicely. Looks the part and lets the glove hand work well. Solid arm across recorded up to 88 mph. Right-handed hitter with a wide base and very solid bat speed. Uses the ground up really well and stays through the ball nicely. Looks to get out in front and hit the ball really hard. Home run power to the pull side with the ability to generate opposite field strength too. Very solid overall skill and tool set. Great student. Named to the PR Workout Showcase TP List.
