Jose Villegas Jr. is a 2027 SS/UT with a 5-7 115 lb. frame from Corpus Christi, TX who attends London. Compact, wiry build. Ran a 8.23 in the sixty. Showed lots of promise in outfield and infield drills. Confident funnel and works through it well. Solid accuracy on the dirt or grass. Actions and armspeed on the infield. Good hands and feet remain in-sync. Good feel overall. Also pitched, upright stretch into a three-quarter slot. Controlled arm and repeats well. Solid 11-5 shape to breaking ball and filled the zone. Right-handed hitter, even base and open stance. Developing strength but solid feel and timing. Good extension and worked well the other way. Should develop both halves as he matures.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
