Jameson Damato is a 2025 RHP/MIF/OF with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Mound, MN who attends Mound-Westonka. Medium young athletic build. Primary right handed pitcher, has a simple turn and throw delivery with a low leg raise, an immediate lower half drive to the plate and a compact quick arm action that hides the ball well. Steady low 70's fastball, topped out at 73 mph, fastball is mostly straight and thrown aggressively for strikes. Maintains his arm speed well on his curveball, flashed some bite with it but can be more consistent getting out front on release. Works quickly and challenges hitters. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow open stance with a short swing and good hand quickness, has good barrel control and showed some gap to gap power. 7.73 runner in the sixty, speed played well on the bases. Played both infield and outfield when not on the mound, showed good hands and balance in the infield with a quick release on his throws. Good student.
