Nate Grube is a 2025 RHP/3B, SS with a 6-0 140 lb. frame from Newark, CA who attends Newark Memorial. Recorded a 7.48 second sixty yard dash time. Long and lean build, very projectable build moving forward. Primary right-handed pitcher with a quick, sweeping wind up and a low hand set. Fastball has some sink and run to it, there is some repeatability concerns in the delivery but he keeps his head still during it. Features a two pitch mix with a fastball and slider. Secondary third baseman, fields off to the side rather than in the center of the body, carries his momentum towards the target well. Shows a quick transfer and release, has twitchy actions and athleticism present, good showing overall. Right-handed hitter with a deep load and an opposite field approach, tends to slap at the ball and cause the ball to slice rather than create back spin carry. Struggled to be on time and deliver the barrel out front, developing bat speed at present. Has the athleticism to really improve, just needs some mechanical adjustments.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
