Connor Shockley is a 2025 OF/2B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Elm Springs, AR who attends Shiloh Christian School. A bigger frame with a thicker build. Ran a 7.27 60-yard dash. A primary outfielder who works through it pretty well. Throws coming out straight into the air with an uphill release. Had one-hop accuracy to the bag. A right-handed hitter with a narrow base and bent knee stance. Short to the ball with some strength and a direct path. Worked to the middle of the field and the opposite field during his round of BP. Hard line drives for a good round. Produced an 81 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Also took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher who worked out of the stretch. Has a quick leg lift up above the belt. He creates some torque moving downhill and stays in line with the plate. Gets out over the front foot and was able to throw strikes. Had a medium-arm action and was able to command glove-side. Also had a 12-6 breaking curveball in the mix as well. Punched out 3 hitters over 3 innings pitched during his outing on the mound. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
