Sal Gagliano is a 2026 SS/RHP, 2B, MIF, OF with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who is Undecided. Tall, lanky build showing the type of frame that can easily take on strength as he matures. 7.61 60-yd. Moved well and attacked the baseball with aggression putting his strong arm to use and pulling through the baseball on throws. Arm strength is above-average for the class and shows major upside. From the infield, caught the baseball well while playing behind it and moving well laterally. Worked the glove well with some added taps to keep him in time. Arm strength stood out though accuracy will need to be refined. Offensively, works with a big leg kick and loads the upper half on it before showing advanced bat speed and natural loft through contact. Used the middle of the field well and flashed the ability to drive the baseball. More power is available as he grows into the body. Showed the tools in-game as well and with his understanding of the game, there's upside available as he matures. A secondary pitcher, athletic actions as he works down the slope. Solid arm speed and gets good carry out of the hand. The ball jumps at times. Mostly fastballs but flashed a straight CH. Velocity will make consistent jumps as he physically matures. Excellent student.
