Benjamin Castillo is a 2023 IF/UT with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Glendale, CA who attends Burbank. Physical build with present strength and athletic levers. Ran a 7.65 in the 60-yard dash. Infielder, gains ground well on the dirt and works it through the back hand. Solid instincts and fundamentals. Outfielder, good carry in throws from an over-the-top release. Attacks the ball and fields it cleanly, working the arm to the bag. Right-handed hitter, wide base and high hand set with a high back elbow. Slight stride in load creates extension out front. Some quickness to the turn and found a few loud barrels up the middle. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
