Marcus Zagorski is a 2023 OF/RHP, UT with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Huntington Station, NY who attends Walt Whitman. Clocked a 7.50-second sixty-yard dash time. Athletic frame with room left to be filled throughout frame. Primary outfielder, passive approach to the ball, fields ball out in front with accurate throws. Longer arm action, up to 64 mph on throws, could carry momentum through throws more. Right-handed hitter, sets up with an open stance and high-hand set. Worked to the pull side with a downhill swing plane. Tendency to get out and around ball with a long bat path. Could shorten swing and simply swing mechanics to work more directly to ball. Ball with carry as he adds strength. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
