Jacob Scheiderer is a 2027 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Orange, TX who attends Little Cypress-Mauriceville. Compact, wiry build. Ran a 7.33 in the sixty. Showed well in outfield and first base drills. Solid intent to the arm path. Gets there well on a line and carry. Quick turns to the bag at first, gets glove down on time. Solid arm speed and intent and athletic traits at both, moves well. Also pitched, works from steeper three-quarter slot and short stride length. Fastball has some arm-side run and mixed in a pair of solid breakers and developing changeup all around the same velocity range. Feel to spin. Left-handed hitter, wider base and open stance. Wiry strength showed from direct path. On the barrel a good bit in his round and worked it best to the pull side. Should really develop and impressed.
