Brayden Johns is a 2025 LHP/C, 1B, OF with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from Satsuma, FL who attends Palatka. Recorded an 8.22-second 60-yard dash time. Young, athletic build with tons of room to fill as he matures physically. Primary left-handed pitcher, simple operation with a coiled leg lift. Attacked the zone with a two-pitch mix that is continuing to develop. Worked fastball in four quadrants of the zone, up to 67 mph with some arm side run. Landed breaking ball for strikes that showed 2-7 shaped break with depth. Secondary outfielder, plays low with smooth transition from glove to hand. Fields off front foot and could carry his momentum through his throws more. Whippy arm action, up to 67 mph on his throws to the bases. Right-handed hitter, event stance with high-hand set. Punches ball with his hands as he showed some line-drive impact to the middle of the field. Ball will jump off his bat as he adds strength and matures physically.
