Henry Bishop is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Fitchburg, WI who attends Edgewood. Nice athletic build with lots of length and plenty of physical projection. Right handed hitter, hits from an upright and straight stance with a short stride out of a toe tap load, quiet set up that lets him be well timed, gets good hip rotation and some extension through contact, line drive swing plane, good swing base to grow into has he gets stronger. 7.19 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, still learning how to work through the ball and read hops, arm works well with projectable arm strength, will continue to improve with repetitions. Also pitched, works from the stretch with a high leg lift start and a compact arm circle in back, over the top arm slot. Upper 70's fastball, topped out at 80 mph, mostly straight with good downhill angle. Threw his curveball more than his fastball, gets over the top of it well from his slot and creates good depth and tight spin, solid pitch. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
