Sidney Dale is a 2027 LHP/OF with a 5-9 128 lb. frame from Southport, NC who attends South Brunswick. Long, lean current frame with good projection and should really add strength in the coming months. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.57 seconds. Primary position LHP, using a full windup from the middle of the rubber, working with a small side step to waist high leg lift. A touch of inward turn to load and breaks hands at letters to full inline arm path, accelerating through low-3/4 arm angle. Small crossbody stride giving him a bit of deception on his FB that reached 75 mph with solid spin traits for his age. CB in the low-60s with good shape and will give LHHs difficulty longterm. CH needs refinement as it would cut and run sporadically. Reps in the OF, showing deliberate path to the ball and deep transfer. Long arm action, creating solid low throws up to 76 mph. LHH working from a narrow start and lower handset with very little pre-pitch movement. Simple load and direct path with the hands to contact. More hard contact as round progressed, pull oriented approach with emerging power. Projectable two-way athlete with his left-handed skill set.
