Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.75 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, athleticism plays in actions, fields the ball out front, utilizes a shorter crow hop into release, tends to get misdirected with lower half actions, high lead arm and works across body, shows quickness to arm with some present arm strength. Also pitched, high leg lift at start of delivery, looseness throughout, rhythmic operation and creates extension out front; works downhill, fastball topped out at 78 mph while working around the zone, flashed a curveball at 62 mph, has components to continue to improve. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base but moves into contact well, high hand set, shows looseness and strength to hands when getting fully extended out front. Gets inside the ball at times but shows ability to extended through contact, best contact to the middle of the field, swung it well in live action as well. Excellent student. Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
