2021 Memphis Prospect Showcase
Michael Callahan is a 2025 MIF with a 5-10 125 lb. frame from Lake Cormorant, MS who attends Lake Cormorant. Very slender young build. 7.97 runner in the sixty. Has nice balanced actions in the infield on defense, hands are soft at the ball and he fielded everything cleanly, charges the ball well with good balance, arm strength still developing due to his young body but has a feel for playing defense and will keep improving as he adds strength and physical maturity. Right handed hitter, hits from an upright narrow stance with a busy hand load, will need to develop consistency with where he starts his swing, moves to his front side well and into contact, middle of the field line drive contact when he's on time with his hands.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
