Tyson Threadgill is a 2024 3B/1B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Show Low, AZ who attends Home School. Threadgill worked from a variety of defensive spots over the course of his event, starting from his primary corner IF position where he displayed clean glove work with high effort mechanics to ultimately top out at 77 mph across the diamond. He displayed a full arm action and attempted to change arm slots on the run. From the OF, the strong framed prospect worked through the ball well and carried momentum through release, again topping out at 77 mph. Offensively, the righty started from a slightly open stance with a compact hand set and slight hover to the leg trigger, generating consistent line drive contact to the pull side of the field. He showed the ability to create carry when on time, posting an exit velo of 85 mph. Ran a 7.41 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
