Sebastian Negron is a 2024 C/3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Aibonito, PR, who attends Leadership Christian Academy. Strength in the taller frame with some physicality to him. Ran a 7.18 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with open feet to start. Side-saddle setup. Has some whip to the arm through a shorter release. Gains ground well with a quick step into the throw. Settled in during his round of throws to work around the bag in the air. Throws were at 75 mph with a 2.06 pop time down to second on his round of throws. A right-handed hitter with a more upright and slightly open stance. The hands are set high, and the back elbow is up. Quick leg lift and stride forward. Was able to leverage the ball well with big juice to the pull side. Left the yard during his round of BP. Drove the ball well in the air and was able to produce a 90 mph exit velocity during PG tech testing. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
