Haston Meeks is a 2023 1B/RHP with a 6-0 220 lb. frame from Inman, SC who attends Dorman. Large frame with significant present physicality. Ran a 8.70 second 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, works low to the ball with soft hands, squares it in his body well and showed accuracy across. Also pitches, works compact and in line down the mound, quick and compact arm action, sinks the fastball well to the bottom half and shows some depth on a bigger breaking ball. Right-handed hitter, works short through the zone and get the barrel out looking to lift out front; extends well through impact and drove the ball consistently to the middle of the field during his round. Outstanding student.
