2022 Mid-Atlantic Prospect Showcase
Joshua Nachmann is a 2025 3B/RHP, 1B, OF with a 6-1 182 lb. frame from Garrison, NY who attends Walter Panas. Slender, long, lean frame with tons of room to fill as he continues to add muscle. 7.57-second runner during the sixty. Primary corner infielder, played through the ball with short, choppy steps, fielding out in front with a deep funnel. Developing foot speed as he showed some limited range going to his left and right. Solid glove actions. Worked up to 76 mph on this throws across the diamond. Secondary right-handed hitter, worked exclusively from the stretch with a drop and drive lower half. Over-the-top arm action, using his long levers to create a tough downhill angle. Worked in the mid-70s with more velo left in the tank. Continuing to develop feel for his breaking ball with loose spin, flashing 11-5 shape. Right-handed hitter, setting up with an even, balanced stance, and a high-hand set. Short, downhill stroke with compact hand speed. Displayed some middle-of-the-field, line-drive impact when on time. Hands tended to cast away from his body, causing his barrel to lag through the zone. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
