Jacob Soliz is a 2026 SS/2B/3B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Georgetown, TX who attends Rouse. Medium frame with an athletic, slightly physical build. Ran a 7.17 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well at the position, clean funnel and glove works really well, balanced at the ball and moves into release well, solid arm comes out easy across. Also pitched, athletic on the mound and works down slope well, pounds the zone with the fastball, bigger breaking ball in the mix, worked a clean inning. Right-handed hitter, slightly open setup and moves in well, tight hand path and works simply through the zone, has good quickness to the hands and some strength in flashes, will produce more as he gets off the back side more and adds strength but good foundation.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
