Christopher Matsumoto is a 2024 1B/LHP, OF with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Clairemont. Slight, skinny frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.25 seconds. Primary 1B, that works with a spread out, even stance. Showed an all fields approach at the plate. Defensively at 1B his throws across the diamond topped out at 61 MPH. His throws from the OF reached 64 MPH. On the pitching side his FB was 62-65 MPH with some arm side run. His CB averaged 54 MPH and had 1/7 shape and he showed quality feel for being able to throw it for a strike on a consistent basis. Excellent student.
