Michael Oliveto is a 2025 C/RHP/IF/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Smithtown, NY who attends Hauppauge. Oliveto works from a medium athletic build with projection remaining as a '25 prospect. Exclusively from his primary spot behind the plate, he started from a slight side saddle set receiving cleanly with a lower mid-line transfer. He effectively gained ground in the footwork with consistent throws around the bag. Posted a 2.01 pop time. Offensively, the left handed hitter started from an open base with a tight hand set, flashing a simple repeatable stroke with his best impact to the pull side of the field. Oliveto displayed clear bat speed through the zone with intent to create lift in the bat path, posting an exit velo of 91 mph. Ran a 7.20 sixty yard dash. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
