Doug Suddarth is a 2027 3B/RHP, 1B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Lakeland, TN who attends Memphis University. Recorded a 7.47 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman with a tall and physcial frame. Has present strength and showed deliberate actions in the infield, showing good arm strength across with some carry to it. Right-handed hitter and starts from a wide base with even feet. Busy hands pre-pitch and loads them deep. Solid bat speed and takes a direct path to the ball. Flashed the ability to leverage and lift it, displaying best power to the middle of the field. Secondary right-handed pitcher and uses a clean, medium length arm action. Releases from 3/4 slot and fastball topped at 71, featuring arm side run. Commanded it well and mixed in a short slider that showed short break, playing off of the heater well. Named to the 2023 13U/14U Sunshine Mid-South Showcase Top Prospect List.
