Ryan Carpenter is a 2026 3B/RHP, MIF, UT with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends Seven Lakes. Posted an 8.30 in the 60. Primary 3B with actions fitting the corner profile. Mobility has time to progress while the glove and arm show upside in his potential. Good field awareness getting in good position and work through the play. The arm strength projects some with a quick release that carries well across the damond. On the mound the right-hander topped his fastball out at 75 with a sharp breaking ball flashing some quality depth and feel to spin. Showed good athleticism on the mound, the delivery was clean and compact and transfers the infield arm action effectively. Curveball played well showing some 12/6 shape at times. Right-handed hitter has solid young bat speed that can create good leverage. There is some moving parts in the developing swing mechanics heading in the right direction, the maturing strength should take the hit tool potential to the next stage soon.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
