Robert Ferrell is a 2027 C/RHP/OF with a 5-7 137 lb. frame from Willis, TX who attends Willis. Smaller frame with a lean and athletic build. Ran a 7.36 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, balanced in his setup and exchanges well, replaces feet with good intent and stays short to his release point, consistent accurate throws with a good foundation. Also plays outfield, plays back on it a bit and solid feel, clean through funnel and exchange, strong arm up to 78 to bags. Pitches too, stretch only and shorter arm stroke, stays on line well and up to 75, works arm side and gets good extension, showed feel for 3 pitches as a whole. Right-handed hitter, even base and bigger trigger, on plane early and gets on to his front side, good hands and works to all fields, produces liners well.
