Aiden Carrizales is a 2024 C/RHP, SS, OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Grapevine, TX who attends Southlake Carroll. He ran a 7.72 second sixty. A primary catcher with a medium build. Behind the plate he gets the ball out of the glove fine with a short transfer as he gains ground into his throws getting on top of the ball with projectable arm strength as he recorded a 2.04 seconds pop time. On the mound he worked from the stretch only with a leg lift up to the chest as the arm works compact through the back up to a high three-quarters arm slot. The fastball sat 75-78 mph topping out at 80 mph with some downhill plane showing young command of the pitch. The curveball has depth in the mid 60's with shape right out of the hand that will get tighter with more conviction. Right-handed hitter, loads the weight on to the back side in the load getting back to even from a slightly open stance, the barrel is on time out front a good bit with a weight shift into contact as heehawed projectable strength in the hands impacting the ball to all fields.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
