Cole Utley is a 2027 1B/RHP with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Killen, AL who attends Brooks. Tall and physical build. Ran a 9.08 sixty-yard dash. Primary first baseman, good mover around the bag with fundamental footwork, bounces off the bag with confidence, two hand funnel out front into the body with a mid body exchange, turns glove side on throws, young arm strength across that will continue to get better as he gets older, recorded throws up to 65 mph. Right-handed hitter, high hands and a high back elbow in the stance, short leg lift trigger stride out, hands stay tight to the body throughout, got the bat inside the baseball and hit to the opposite field almost exclusively. Needs to free up the hands a bit to tap into the power. Secondary right-handed pitcher, short compact arm stroke in the back to a three-quarters slot, young arm speed, pounded the zone with a three pitch mix. Fastball lived in the low-60s with feel for a slider in the low-50s and a changeup in the mid-50s.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
