2022 Jupiter Qualifier Workout Showcase
Jeremy Javier Morales is a 2023 C/OF with a 5-11 181 lb. frame from San Juan, PR who attends Leadership Christian Academy. Showed plus speed with a 6.71 second sixty. Primary catcher with a ticker build. Sits in a side straddle stance behind the dish, reaches out to receive the ball infant of the body. Does a nice job gaining ground into the throws with a longer arm action showing solid arm strength and carry to the base, recoding a 1.97 pop time. Right-handed hitter, starts with a narrow base and slightly open stance, keeps the bat linear through the hitting zone with solid bat speed showing good intent and jump off the barrel. Showed the ability to create some leverage at the point of contact when on time and creating extension out front. Good student. Named to the 2022 Jupiter Qualifier Workout Top Prospect List.
