Cody Smith is a 2008 LHP/OF/1B with a 5'11'', 175 lb. frame from Wales, WI who attends Kettle Moraine HS. Smith has a lean medium build. On the mound he has a multi-part delivery/arm action, and has some deception. He has a sinking 76 FB, and his slider is sharp at 70 mph. He likes to backdoor RHH's with his CB. He throws strikes, keeps the ball low in the zone, and mixes it up with soft stuff. He can be effective on the corners with either pitch. He is also a switch hitting OF with his best bat speed coming from the right side. Cody is also a good student.
