Justin Diaz is a 2025 SS/2B, MIF, OF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Flat Rock, MI who attends Western International. Compact build and frame. Athleticism showing throughout. Ran a 7.21 60-yard dash. A primary middle infielder. He moved low to the ground with clean glove actions and softer hands. He had a good backhand with quiet hands. Bouncy feet. He moved well ranging laterally, moving fluid up the middle, and showing the ability to adjust slots on throws. Throws were at 81 mph across the diamond. A right-handed hitter with a spread stance, using a quick leg lift and minimal stride. He keeps the hands lower with the back elbow lower as well. He drives the ball in the air well, especially to the middle of the field. He's short to it with a direct path. Extends through it with a long finish. The hands get deep and work directly to the ball. Had some good swings with good carry into the pull-side gap during his round of BP swings. Added a couple of swings in-game as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
